Carter Target 3 Release

The three-finger design of the Target 3 allows you to drop your little finger off the release while still giving you all of the preferred features of the Target 4.

Controlled Engagement System: There is no longer a trigger travel adjustment as the sear engagement is now controlled by Carter's Controlled Engagement System. There is still the standard tension adjustment that is shown below.

Trigger Tension Adjustment: Using .050 hex key, loosen the locking screw on the side of the case. This will allow you to use the 3/32 hex key to adjust the larger tension adjustment screw. Clockwise (In) gives you more tension, Counterclockwise (out) gives you less tension. The screw allows you a micro adjust feature to allow you the perfect amount of trigger tension. After adjusting to your preference, snug the locking screw to keep the adjustment screw from moving. Caution, insufficient spring tension can cause a misfire and may cause damage.

Adjust trigger Carter thumb trigger releases include an adjustable knurled knob to help the release fit more comfortably in your hand. To adjust the knurled knob, loosen the bolt, rotate the knob to the desired fit, and retighten the bolt to hold the Adjusto Trigger in position.

Recommended Use To Load on the d-loop, Simply cock the release with the jaw open, then close the jaw over the loop to attach. CAUTION Keep your thumb away while drawing until you are ready to fire. Apply pressure to the trigger to execute the shot
